Within 10 Days Within 10 Days Deal with banks and financial institutions where accounts or investments were held.
1-3 Months 1-3 Months Instruct solicitor, valuations if needed, tax reorganizations, and probate support.
3-6 Months 3-6 Months Coordinate asset transfers outside the estate, tax returns, remitted tax, and U.S. tax matters.
6-9 Months 6-9 Months Obtain CRA tax clearance certificate and account for receipts and disbursements.
9-14 Months 9-14 Months Administer the remaining estate and continue supporting the executor as agent.
